A business plan helps you organize the tasks you need to accomplish and set
goals to ensure the success of your business. It helps you make decisions in the key areas every business must consider, such as business structure, market demographics, sales goals, marketing and financing. It also becomes a key document if you ever seek a business loan.

Before you begin pursuing government contracting, it is highly recommended that you first develop a business plan. SBDCs, SCORE and the SBA website all offer no cost assistance to help you develop your business plan. Below are links to these websites:
