If someone were to ask me, “What is your greatest career achievement?” without hesitation I’d say, “Obtaining a General Services Administration (GSA) contract for my employer, Glover & Associates, Inc.” The process of obtaining a GSA contract from start to finish is intimidating for the first timer, and no one needs to tackle the acquisition of a GSA contract alone.

| Technology Center (The FTC), I began taking advantage of free classes, seminars, and one-on-one procurement counseling. "The FTC Procurement Assistance Program is priceless, and I owe my success in obtaining Glover’s first GSA contract to Bill Teeple, Senior Counselor/Instructor. Bill patiently reviewed every page of my three inch document prior to its submittal. I took notes while he explained everything in layman’s terms, and then I went back to my office and incorporated the changes and used his suggestions for submitting a pristine GSA offer. If I hadn’t met with Bill, my hefty package would have been sent back to me for corrections and the final acceptance date would have been extended by several months. |

Over the next few months, Glover will market its services using a GSA Contract Marketing List supplied by The FTC. We have high hopes that opening the doors to doing business with the federal government will give us a competitive edge. An increase in revenue will provide the funds needed to hire and train additional security/telecom systems, design professionals and the ability to better serve our clients. |
