On June 13, 2001, Arizona's U.S. Army instalation, the Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), signed an agreement with The Federal Technology Center (The FTC). This agreement is for The FTC to provide support for their Office of Research and Technology Application (ORTA). Under this agreement, The FTC will provide Cooperative Research and Development Agreement support and identify transfer mechanisms available to YPG for working with industry, small businesses, and academia. The FTC will also provide guidance and training on methods available to protect intellectual property assets.
The goal of The FTC – YPG agreement is to increase the number of small
businesses who will become partners
to expand the development of new
technology applications in support of
YPG's testing mission.

YPG is the “Proving Ground of the Future.” We at The FTC look forward to a long term partnership with them.
