The FTC Launches New Class: Responding to RFPs The Federal Technology Center (The FTC) is pleased to announce the addition of a new free class to its curriculum entitled, Responding to RFPs (Request for Proposal). This class was developed in response to many requests from clients to provide general assistance in learning about this key method used by government agencies to develop contracts. Responding to RFPs completes the suite of The Federal Technology Center’s contracting basics classes, which includes: Introduction to Federal Contracting, Federal Contract Negotiation, Federal Contract Administration and Government Subcontracting. Responding to RFPs discusses the RFP process from “cradle to grave” – from locating and reviewing the RFP, through proposal development, negotiation and post-award tasks. For a complete listing of dates and locations for the class, Responding to RFPs and all of The FTC’s other FREE classes, click here or call The FTC at (916) 334-9388. The FTC is available to help small businesses successfully compete for federal, state and local government contracts.
