


Small Businesses Can Now Attend Free Government Contracting Classes in New AT&T Wireless Computer Lab The Federal Technology Center (The FTC) is pleased to announce a new partnership with the AT&T Foundation, the philanthropic arm of AT&T Communications, Inc., to provide free government contracting classes to small businesses in the new AT&T Wireless Computer Lab at The Federal Technology Center. The AT&T Wireless Computer Lab has been made possible through an AT&T Excelerator Grant, an AT&T Foundation sponsored program that uses technology to provide education to underserved populations. The FTC is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation that promotes economic development by facilitating technology transfer between government and the private sector and by helping small businesses successfully compete for government contracts. The FTC’s government contracting experts will teach the following free hands-on classes in the AT&T Wireless Computer Lab:
These classes will provide businesses the opportunity to gain a solid foundation for using technology in government contracting. Small business owners will experience hands-on training using wireless laptop computers to access key government procurement websites and to learn government e-commerce processes.
