The Federal Technology Center (The FTC)
provides contracting assistance to small businesses in 54 of California’s 58 counties (shown above in red).

October 2000, The FTC established a Procurement Assistance Program to provide government contracting assistance to a 10-county area surrounding Sacramento, California. In October 2003, The FTC was designated by the Defense Logistics Agency as a Statewide Procurement Assistance Program to serve 46 of California's 58 counties. In January 2005, The FTC began serving 54 of the 58 counties.

Our Services
As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation, The FTC promotes economic development in California by
helping small businesses successfully compete for federal, state, and local government contracts through the following:
 
FREE Courses and Seminars
The FTC offers FREE courses and seminars throughout California on a variety of topics of interest to small businesses that want to do business with the federal, state, or local government. More info >
 
FREE One-on-One Counseling
The FTC provides FREE individualized counseling to help small businesses achieve their goals. With over 200 years of combined government contracting experience, our counselors are prepared to advise and assist clients in:
- identifying marketing opportunities and strategies
- preparing and submitting applications and certifications

1. What can The FTC do for me?
The FTC can save you time and money by helping you learn how to successfully compete for government contracts. If you want to do business with the government, we are here to help you. We are a not-for-profit, public benefit organization chartered to help small businesses with all aspects of government contracting. We are funded by grants which allow us to provide counseling, training, and other resources at no charge to you.

The government is a great customer
On average, the federal government spends over $500 billion in goods and    services and the state of California spends over $9 billion per year
